Grand Melee
A Grand Melee is held at
the end of every three months. The winner of the Grand Melee gets to claim
a bloodname.
Next Grand Melee will be held March 25th-31st for the
Gohcourt bloodname, maps will be Blood Pit for the Star
Melee and NB Bear Trap for the Grand Melee.
Rules of the Grand Melee:
During the last week of the Grand Melee each star will hold its own melee
called a “Star Melee” to select their candidate to fight in the
Grand Melee.
There must be at least one witness in a camera ship to the Star Melee. The
game will be a free for all in a map designated by the Keshik, it will last
15 minutes, and no respawn. Each warrior will bring into the fight their best
mech. The last man standing will be declared the winner of the Star Melee
and will be a candidate for the Grand Melee. The winner may choose someone
else to fight in the Grand Melee instead of them if they wish.
At the end of the week all
candidates will fight each other in the Grand Melee.

Anyone not present at the time of the melees will be considered MIA at the
time and will have to wait until the next melee to be held.
Usages of a bloodname:
A named warrior should refer to themselves using their bloodname in trials
and matches. (e.g. “I Johnny#5 Kerenksy challenge you Boomster to a
Circle of Equals.”) Also in trials and matches others are to refer to
a named warrior using their bloodname. (e.g. “I Boomster accept your
challenge Johnny#5 Kerensky.”) A named warrior also is given authority
over those in his/her own rank without a bloodname.
However usage of the bloodname may be dropped in “Fast-Pace” mode.
