Overview:
A Clan was born in mid-3049, from the followers of the strogest in the Warden faith. The caste-members and warriors came from the Clans and the Clansmen who were stuck back in the homeworlds and had no way or hope to ever reaching the front lines to stop the Crusadier Clans from invadeing the Inner Sphere. They called themselves "Clan Sword". Confroting and fighting against the Crusader Clans angered the Crusaiders, and they had challenged Clan Sword to a Trial of Annihilation ware Clan Sword was victorius but sufferd savear losses, then Clan then chose exilement in the Inner Sphere rather than being absourbed by another clan. They now work for the new Star League Defence Force as mercinaries, and now call themselves the "Star League Pirates".

Information & Details:
We hold mandatory clan meetings on every Friday at 6:00pm CST
We are in NBT (and will be participateing in NBT Hard Core)
We also play against other teams in a 'Tattered-Flag' contest.
We try to uphold the true Clan Society from the Warden's standpoint, of which the nature of online gaming can allow.
We also promote the "Clan experience" in SLP.
Our ideals and foundations within SLP are based upon what is read out of the BattleTech SourceBooks, RuleBooks, and Technical ReadOuts to the original BattleTech RPG that MechWarrior4 is based off of.
We fight with honor, but we fight to win.

Codes of Conduct:
It has been stressed upon the members to fight with honor and fairty. "It is better to die with honor than it is to live as a coward." Plus we have always asked that you respect other clans friend or foe. Treat others how you would like to be treated. Follow and honor the words of your OvKhan(s). We despise: legging, chaining, disorderly conduct, abuse of power, dishonorable acts. All of these acts can be punishable by the Khan or keshik.
You will need to show up, and participate in the meetings as much as possible to stay as an active member of SLP, inactive members will be removed from the roster, and will have to start over again with their rank and awards.
FFP (Force First Person) is not considered beyond reality in SLP, it may be argued in the rulebook "Maximum Tech" of the clan systems called Enhanced Imaging will allow the user to access images and video-feed from an outside view of the BattleMech.

Gaming History:
In 1999 'Nova2' had created a clan in MechWarrior2 called "Clan Sword"
In 2000 the clan restarted in Mech Commander Gold during the sadly dyeing days of MW2
In 2001 the clan moved into MechWarrior4: Vengeance
In 2003 the clan had disbanded, and then reformed calling themselves the “Star League Pirates”
In 2004 the clan moved into MechWarrior4: Mercinaries
